I am the editor for ILLUMEN, a poetry print magazine that's published twice a year.

James S. Dorr's poem "Emile's Ghosts" that appeared in the Spring 2008 issue of Illumen was nominated for a Rhysling
Award.
Three poems from Illumen received honorable mention in The Year's Best Horror, edited by Ellen Datlow, for 2008. They
are:

"Midnight in the Panopticon" by Jennifer Crow, Autumn 2008 Illumen
"The Gravedigger's Daughter" by JoSelle Vanderhooft, Autumn 2008 Illumen
ILLUMEN received a top ten finish in the Poetry Magazine category in the 2008 Preditors & Editors Readers Poll.

ILLUMEN made the April 2008 Genre Mall bestseller list for the spring 2008 issue and the November 2008 Genre Mall bestseller
list for the autumn 2008 issue.

Alexandra Agner (Fall 2009 issue), "The Bookseller's Tale" by Marcie Lynn Tentchoff (Spring 2009 issue), "The Glass Ship"
by Mary Alexandra Agner (Fall 2009 issue), and "Creation Myth" by Robert K. Gardner (Fall 2009 issue).
ILLUMEN received a top ten finish in the poetry magazine category of the 2009 Prededitors & Editors Readers Poll.


I am the editor of the online science fiction, fantasy, and horror magazine AFTERBURN SF.
"The Sixth Day" by Robey Jenkins was named a 2009 Notable Story in the story South Million Writers Award.
